About Dr. Neil Adelman
Dr. Neil Adelman’s vast medical practice experience expands nearly four decades. He is currently Medical Director at Add-Life Recovery Center in Tyler, Texas. Dr. Adelman was educated and received his medical degree, graduating Cum Laude, from Catholic Louvain Faculty Medicine, Louvain, Belgium. He received additional training in Internal Medicine from Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and The University of Medicine & Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Adelman has been board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1989.
For the past nine years, serving as the Medical Director at Add-Life Recovery Center, Dr. Adelman supervises the opiate addiction recovery services. He is a certified Suboxone and Methadone treating physician. Dr. Adelman has also served as the Medical Director of the East Texas Medical Center Behavioral Health Center, Level IV Emergency Services ETMC Broadway Clinic, East Texas Home Health, Smith County Jail, Heart to Heart Hospice of East Texas, and the Wellness Center at Clairmont Long Term Care Facility in Tyler.
In addition to serving as Medical Director at Add-Life Recovery Center, Dr. Adelman maintains an Internal Medicine private practice in Tyler. His professional reputation and level of patient care has earned him hospital affiliations and patient admitting privileges with both East Texas Medical Center and Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital.
Dr. Adelman’s expertise has commissioned him to be a medical consultant within the East Texas community for Christus Trinity Mother Frances Clinic Center for Comprehensive Pain Medicine, ETMC Wound Healing Center, the Law Firm of Ramey & Flock, and the Law Firm of Bain, Files, Jarrett, & Harrison, P.C.
Dr. Adelman is committed to his patients’ care and their recovery process from opioid addiction. He takes each patient’s special circumstances and needs into consideration to optimize for the best chance for their recovery.
